a consulting organization, we can adapt to your needs on a project by
project basis, and create an approach and pricing strategy that works
within your constraints..
Project Orientation
Most projects can be done on a project basis, and be priced for the
overall project. This minimizes your risk as you know what the
overall costs will be. Project pricing can be done for any
project where the scope and deliverables are reasonably well defined.
Time and expenses
DL
Consulting will also take on projects on an hourly basis. This
makes sense when the scope of the project is unclear, or when creating
the deliverables is likely to be a process requiring several
interations with a number of stakeholders. This is also the best
approach when you'd like Dan to act as part of your team, and attend
meetings and take on projects on an ad-hoc basis.
Retainer
If the project requires an ongoing commitment of a
reasonably defined number of hours per month, DL Consulting will also
serve as a retained consultant. This is useful, for example, on
long term projects where you need assistance with regular monthly
project reviews.
